fake films :: ADAM AND STEVEwhen the existence of heaven is proven as an actuality, and that is a paradise of pleasures and joy, the world is thrown into a sudden new age. if there is a heaven? is there a hell? upon further exploration the answer is no. there is no consequence of eternal suffering. left and right people, families, politicians, everyone is committing suicide, some assisted, some by their own hands. and then there’s steve (o’brien). a middle class teenager who was just about to go off to college. the thought of death scares him, and well, earth ain’t so bad, is it? steve leaves home when his parents sit their family down to make plans for their new “permanent vacation”, and goes to enjoy the world as it is. along the way he meets adam(hutcherson), another teen who doesn’t want to leave what he has, and the two fall for each other as the trek across the united states and face the question that haunts the room: will they be the only the only ones left alive by the end of the week?
